Barry

Barry Signal Box in South Wales, which closed in 2014, is comprehensively documented in this collection of videos created by FARSAP volunteer Rob Daniels.

The video ‘Barry - A Life Story’ is intended for viewing at a maximum screen resolution of 1920 pixels wide by 1080 pixels high, while the other videos are intended for 1080 by 720. Please be aware that viewing at larger sizes may result in a loss of clarity and a ‘grainy’ appearance.

Barry - A Life Story

This film documents Barry’s railway history in considerable detail. The story continues through two world wars, right up to the closure of Barry’s final operational signal box, Barry Station, in 2014.
