Holywood
Network Rail's last set of wheel operated manual crossing gates in Scotland.
The geographic location of the crossing can be seen on a current OS Map. The map will place this location at the centre of the map panel, roll the mouse over the icon(s) to reveal what they represent. Increase the scale using the scale selector on the left to separate closely positioned icons.

| 1850 | Glasgow, Dumfries and Carlisle Railway became part of the Glasgow South Western Railway. Killylung station renamed Holywood. |
| 1878 | Holywood Signal Box opened. |
| c1920 | Holywood Signal Box replaced. |
| 1949 | Holywood Station closed. |
